LACKAWANNA COUNTY ARTS AND CULTURE  2026 NON-PROFIT & MUNICIPAL OPERATIONAL GRANT APPLICATION

Non-profit arts and culture organizations or non-profits conducting significant arts programs and municipalities. We have added a new collaborative feature which will allow you to have several collaborators to work or assist in completion of a single grant application.  Applications will be reviewed by a committee and the Commissioner’s Office to determine awards.  Awards will be announced in late January or early February of 2026.  

If you were previously funded and are asking for an increase you must explain how funds will help broaden the capacity for current programming, assist in the development of new programming, and/or reaches new audiences.

The following criteria will be used in reviews of grants.

1. Enhances the cultural life of Lackawanna County.

2. Programming is impactful.

3. Strength and marketing and outreach.

4. Demonstration to commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

5. If a 501 (c) or other non-profit compliant with federal and state requirements.

6. Management and demonstration of growth.

7. Fiscally responsibility. 

To be eligible for Lackawanna County Arts and Culture funding for 2026, all current Program Stream Grant recipients must submit final reports for 2026 (*2026 FINAL REPORT PROGRAM STREAM*).
